Enterprise Cybersecurity Solutions Sales Executive

The Role
This role is responsible for expanding our sales team and driving new business. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned veteran of the Email and Mobile industry, having relationships with many people in the messaging space.
Your Key Responsibilities
- You'll own the sales cycle and resources for opportunities in which you're involved.
- You'll qualify and validate opportunities, create and deliver winning strategies and customer account plans to ensure that Proofpoint's technology is selected in the sales cycle.
- You'll develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- You'll build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- You'll partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- You'll effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- You'll understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
- You'll report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
- You'll partner with other Proofpoint reps in the region to help build and grow pipeline.
Requirements
- You should have strong knowledge of the Service Provider business through years of selling solutions.
- You should be able to execute sales with Service Providers and drive new annual recurring revenue.
- You should be comfortable selling solution-oriented packages that satisfy our customer needs.
- You should be a customer advocate with great people skills to build long-term relationships.
- You should have a proven and demonstrable track record of exceeding sales goals.
- You should be able to handle technical details at meetings on your own and articulate how our products work from the C-Level to the working Level.
- You should have strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively articulate Proofpoint's value.
- You should be great at closing deals.
- You should be self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- You should be able to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in resolving difficult issues.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Field, preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, is required.
Estimated Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
