Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Demand Planning Manager to join our team in North Sydney.

The successful candidate will have experience in demand planning, S&OP, and statistical forecasting methods.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and economic indicators.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to validate demand forecasts.
  • Facilitate S&OP meetings to align demand plans with supply chain capabilities and business objectives.
  • Ensure that demand forecasts are integrated into the overall business planning process and aligned with financial targets.
  • Analyse forecast accuracy, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to improve forecasting performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast bias, demand variability, and inventory turnover.
  • Communicate demand forecasts and changes to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the demand planning process.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, ideally from the FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and software.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with demand planning and forecasting software.
