Overview

Kimberly-Clark is a leading global health and hygiene company seeking a skilled Chief Demand Planner to join our team in North Sydney. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven demand forecasting and planning.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Demand Planner who can develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with supply chain capabilities and business objectives. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will play a vital role in shaping our company's strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Forecasting: Collect and analyze historical sales data, market trends, and economic indicators to create accurate demand forecasts. Develops and maintains statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict future demand.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to gather input and validate demand forecasts. Facilitate S&OP meetings to align demand plans with supply chain capabilities and business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure that demand forecasts are integrated into the overall business planning process and aligned with financial targets. Track and analyze forecast accuracy, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions to improve forecasting performance.
  • Communication: Communicate demand forecasts and changes to stakeholders, including senior management, to support decision-making. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the demand planning process.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, ideally from the FMCG industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns. Proficiency with data analysis tools and software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Qualifications: Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting software (e.g., SAP APO). Familiarity with statistical forecasting methods and techniques.
