Supply Chain Excellence

We're seeking a talented Supply Chain Strategist to join our team at Kimberly-Clark. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will be responsible for analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand to create accurate forecasts. You will collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional activities and market intelligence into forecasts.

  1. Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimize carrying costs, and avoid stockouts or excess inventory. Set safety stock levels and reorder points based on demand variability and lead times.
  2. Develop production schedules to meet demand forecasts while maximizing manufacturing efficiency and minimizing costs. Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure production capacity aligns with demand plans.
  3. Implement and continuously improve supply chain processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.
  4. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive supply chain performance.

Requirements

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can excel in a dynamic environment. Key qualifications include:

  1. Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally with FMCG experience and an organization that manufactures domestically.
  2. Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency with forecasting and inventory management software and tools.
  3. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across departments. Ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills to address supply chain disruptions, inventory issues, and process inefficiencies. Capability to develop and implement contingency plans and corrective actions.
  5. Proven leadership skills to manage and inspire a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Ability to influence and drive change within the organization.
