Are you a detail-oriented and analytical professional with experience in demand planning and S&OP? We are seeking a skilled Senior Demand Planning and S&OP Strategist to join our team at Kimberly-Clark.

About the Role:

  • We are offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including superannuation, career development opportunities, free health & well-being activities, volunteering leave, and more.
  • You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and economic indicators to create accurate demand forecasts. You will develop and maintain statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict future demand.
  • You will work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to gather input and validate demand forecasts. You will facilitate S&OP meetings to align demand plans with supply chain capabilities and business objectives.
  • You will ensure that demand forecasts are integrated into the overall business planning process and aligned with financial targets.
  • You will track and analyze forecast accuracy, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions to improve forecasting performance. You will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast bias, demand variability, and inventory turnover.
  • You will facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure a holistic approach to demand planning.
  • You will communicate demand forecasts and changes to stakeholders, including senior management, to support decision-making.
  • You will identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the demand planning process.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, ideally from the FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns. Proficiency with data analysis tools and software.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure precise demand forecasts and inventory plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address demand planning challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting software (e.g., SAP APO). Familiarity with statistical forecasting methods and techniques.
  • S&OP experience.
