Demand Planning and Supply Chain Optimization Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning and Supply Chain Optimization Lead to join our team at Kimberly-Clark. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, and facilitating S&OP meetings to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze historical sales data, market trends, and economic indicators to create accurate demand forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict future demand.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to gather input and validate demand forecasts.
  • Facilitate S&OP meetings to align demand plans with supply chain capabilities and business objectives.
  • Ensure that demand forecasts are integrated into the overall business planning process and aligned with financial targets.
  • Track and analyze forecast accuracy, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions to improve forecasting performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast bias, demand variability, and inventory turnover.
  • Communicate demand forecasts and changes to stakeholders, including senior management, to support decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, ideally from the FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns. Proficiency with data analysis tools and software.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure precise demand forecasts and inventory plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address demand planning challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with demand planning and forecasting software (e.g., SAP APO).
  • S&OP experience.
