Business Development Executive

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Microsoft, focusing on the Defense Industry. As a key member of our Worldwide Public Sector team, you will work closely with senior business executives, government officials, and industry leaders to drive business growth and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Deal Management and Governance: Collaborate with customers, partners, and Microsoft colleagues to develop post-deal governance and oversee the creation and implementation of execution plans across a portfolio of deals within domains, industries, and/or geographies.
- Negotiation: Lead deal opportunities across deal stages, resolve deal issues, and establish best practices for negotiation.
- Partnership Strategy: Develop overarching strategies to address gaps and gains agreements on the opportunity pipeline, and drive support and action by influencing internal stakeholders and partners.
- Partner and Customer Focus: Drive large-scale customer and partner business initiatives, promote joint-value creation, and develop creative solutions for multiple lines of business.
- Passion for the defense industry and consultative sales experience.
- Depth of knowledge within government, defense, and advanced manufacturing.
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization and lead cross-functional engagement with government customers.
- Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills.
- Experience in driving large-scale business initiatives and developing strategic partnerships.
