Compensation Claims Assurance Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our injury recovery and compensation services team. As a strategic leader, you will oversee the management of complex claims processes, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and driving consistent service delivery.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will guide a specialist team in delivering high-quality services to key stakeholders. Your expertise in claims management, injury recovery, and people leadership will be instrumental in achieving organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a specialist team to deliver consistent and high-quality injury recovery and compensation services.
  • Oversee the management of complex injury recovery and claims processes, including both employee and volunteer claims.
  • Develop and maintain strategies for safe, early, and sustainable return-to-work/return-to-life programs for employees and volunteers.

Continuous Improvement and Reporting:

  • Review and innovate internal processes to enhance decision-making and service delivery.
  • Generate and analyze claims data, providing insights to stakeholders for process improvements.
  • Contribute to organizational reporting by delivering timely and accurate data and commentary.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in claims management, injury recovery, or a related field, ideally within a high-volume or diverse workforce environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • In-depth understanding of legislative requirements related to compensation and claims management.
