About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Analyst to join our Core Property Data team in PropTrack. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, availability, and reliability of our data pipelines and APIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data quality strategies for new data pipelines and APIs using data platforms such as Kafka, Flink, BigQuery, dbt, and Airflow/Breeze.
  • Monitor data quality and recommend improvement activities to ensure high-quality data delivery.
  • Identify, track, and remediate data quality issues to minimize their impact on our business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional squads to analyze and produce data coverage and quality statistics across internal and external data sets.
  • Champion quality software delivery from inception to deployment, working closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Work with product managers to understand business priorities and communicate technical options, report on progress, and develop quality metrics.
  • Coach and share knowledge with the squads on data quality practices and advocate for shared quality responsibility.
  • Support the tribe in training needs around onboarding new members, testing tools, or practices.
  • Contribute to the Quality Analysis community of practice for REA Group.
  • Liaise with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and Delivery Leads to ensure quality strategy and plans meet their requirements.
Requirements
  • A mix of data test automation and contract/service/API test automation experience is a plus.
  • A passion for data, expert problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in data testing.
  • Demonstrated skills in defining and implementing data quality strategies for multiple teams.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and address problems to resolve data quality issues and suggest improvements in data quality processes.
  • Ability to extract, transform, and analyze data using a variety of tools and techniques, including SQL.
  • Ability to apply appropriate visualization techniques to datasets using software like Excel and Tableau.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical business owners.
  • Ability to manage competing demands of multiple projects in a timely manner.
  • Exposure to dev-ops tools and techniques, particularly AWS, CloudFormation, and Docker is a plus.
  • Experience with data pipelines and working with streaming data frameworks, such as Kafka and Flink is a bonus.
  • A track record of delivering software to high-quality standards, deploying and supporting the software that you deliver right through to production (past AWS or GCP experience a bonus).
