About the Opportunity

The role of Business Intelligence Analyst is a key enabler of business success at Mercy Aged and Community Care Ltd. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and supporting high-quality business intelligence tools that provide the right information to the right person at the right time through the right channel.

This role is closely aligned to key business owners and works in both a reactive and proactive manner in providing analytic support to the business. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives and contribute to the growth and development of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence tools and reports to support business decision-making
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Provide analytic support to the business, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics
Requirements
  • Business and data analytical skills
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills
  • Problem-solving and process improvement skills
  • Ability to distil valuable insights from large and disparate datasets
  • Knowledge of and competence in Microsoft PowerBI development
  • Proficiency in SQL and other database query languages
  • Understanding of Statistical Process Control
  • Understanding of Public Health and Aged Care operations
