This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Policy Officer/Analyst in a Federal Government organisation. As a key member of the Analytics, Data and Actuarial Division (ADA), you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of policies, reports, and strategies related to budgets and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of policies, reports, and strategies to inform decision-making.
- Support stakeholder consultations to gather insights on scheme effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of impact/evaluation modelling for the NDIS.
- Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and other materials to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Coordinate and participate in meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship
- Experience in policy analysis and development
- 2-3 years of experience working in government or a related field
About the Team:
The Analytics, Data and Actuarial Division (ADA) is a dynamic team that provides actuarial services, analytics, data management, pricing, and data governance across the Agency and to key stakeholders. ADA and the Scheme Actuary are responsible for critical reporting outputs, including the Annual Financial Sustainability Report (AFSR), which provides decision-makers with the evidence to manage the sustainability of the scheme.
