We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our external partnerships and commercial relationships for HomeRun at WooliesX. As the Head of Vendor Success, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward by fostering mutually beneficial partnerships and ensuring the optimal supply chain performance.

About the Role
  • Lead all external partnerships and commercial relationships for HomeRun, promoting a culture of passion for customers, commercially-savvy decision making, collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Responsible for negotiating new agreements and ensuring healthy relationships with key suppliers such as Linfox, Uber, and Australia Post.
  • Design and implement strategies to achieve our goals, including the sourcing and health of our delivery fleet.
Key Accountabilities
  • Developing and executing the Vendor Roadmap for HomeRun, categorizing vendor relationships, identifying risks, leading RFPs, and relationship building.
  • Creating and fostering flourishing partnerships internally and externally, promoting engagement, strategic alignment, and rapid issue resolution.
  • Negotiating and delivering mutually beneficial partnerships, demonstrating excellence in commercial governance.
  • Designing and implementing supplier strategies to achieve our objectives.
  • Leading the process for sourcing and managing our delivery fleet, including vehicle and vendor selection, negotiation, and lease agreements.
About You
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial roles with a proven track record of delivering high-value partnership deals.
  • Strong people leadership skills, able to create a culture of intrinsic motivation, celebrate success, and build accountability.
  • Highly data literate, passionate about making data-led decisions for today and the future.
  • Experience in delivering material business and technology growth at relevant companies.
  • A non-dogmatic mindset, open to new ideas, and able to create value through cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to build trust and collaborative relationships within a large organization.

The estimated salary for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
