The EEPM will work closely with assigned Macquarie faculties (across the four Macquarie academic faculties), and centrally resourced professional services teams, to provide strategic support for engagement and partnership opportunities with external organisations and government agencies.
This role sits within the Corporate Engagement and Partnerships arm of the Macquarie Partnerships team and will report to the MPID Partnerships and Engagement Manager and will work closely with another EEPM, and with the broader Macquarie Partnerships team. The EEPMs are critical to shaping and delivering a professional ‘whole of university’ approach to engagement and partnering and seek to foster multi-disciplinary, multi-faceted strategic partnerships for Macquarie Univeristy, across research, academic and corporate avenues - working with external industry organisations and government agencies.
The Macquarie Partnerships Team acts as the professional and centralised concierge service for industry engagement and partnering at Macquarie University, servicing internal and external stakeholders, and ultimately contributing to a streamlined, professional and simplified engagement and partnerships function for the University.

About Us
Macquarie is a university engaged with the real and often complex problems and opportunities that define our lives. Since our foundation 60 years ago, we have aspired to be a different type of university. Over the years, we’ve grown to become the centre of a vibrant local and global community.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor Research, Innovation and Enterprise [PVC(RIE)] provides strategic and operational leadership on all matters relating to research and development, consultancy, innovation, translation, commercialisation, entrepreneurship, start-up company incubation and corporate partnerships including but not limited to research partnerships. The role oversees the implementation of processes that advance and sustain relationships in the interests of the University and its partners.
The Macquarie Partnerships team (MQP) sits within the Research, Innovation and Enterprise portfolio at Macquarie and works with and across the University to drive and enable industry engagement and partnership projects and opportunities. MQP is the centralised and professional front door for industry to connect, engage and partner with the University. The team identifies, fosters and facilitates research partnerships, education and employability partnerships and broader corporate partnerships with industry and government and brings a strategic ‘whole of university’ approach to MQ’s engagement with industry.
The Director, Partnerships leads the Macquarie Partnerships team and provides strategic direction, advice and training on all aspects of university partnership activities; to cultivate high value, long term strategic partnerships; to facilitate the achievement of university revenue attraction targets; to develop, drive and implement research investment attraction strategies and initiatives aligned to the University’s strategic research priorities; and to develop and implement efficient frameworks, policies, procedures and processes to achieve the above objectives.
