Agricultural Sales Professional

Our client, a renowned international ag-tech innovator with a 75-year legacy of innovation, seeks a motivated Territory Sales Manager to drive sales strategies and foster growth across various business areas.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to build relationships with dealers and customers, provide technical sales support, and boost the business brand by establishing industry connections.
About the Job:
In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager and be responsible for:
- Regularly visiting dealers and customers to maintain strong connections.
- Offering technical sales support to dealers and ensuring their pipelines remain up-to-date.
- Building industry relationships to enhance the business brand.
- Reaching sales targets for your designated territory.
- Creating and implementing sales plans for new and existing customers.
- Staying informed about regional developments and providing forecasts.
- Meeting revenue and profit targets while utilizing Salesforce, Excel, and company programs effectively.
- Identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities in emerging areas of the business.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate possesses experience in agronomy or agriculture, demonstrating a deep understanding of the agricultural sector. As a skilled problem solver and team player committed to achieving team objectives, you should possess:
- A motivated and persistent attitude, capable of juggling multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at managing accounts and developing business.
- Willingsness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.
- Strong value-added selling skills and ability to make sound decisions for customer satisfaction.
- A formal education in agriculture is a plus but not essential.
