Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, elevating customer service standards, and leading the customer service team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging product knowledge to promote and sell the client's diverse agricultural product range.
  • Cultivating strong customer relationships through proactive engagement, needs assessments, and solution recommendations.
  • Negotiating contracts to secure favourable terms for both parties.
  • Providing post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Achieving sales targets through effective prospecting, lead generation, and closing techniques.
  • Preparing sales forecasts, reports, and updates for management.
  • Maintaining market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies.
  • Leading and mentoring the customer service team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, Agriculture, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success in agricultural sales or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of agricultural products and practices.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Google Workspace, and internal company programs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
