Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Planning and Infrastructure Economics team in Melbourne. As a leader in the energy sector, you will play a key role in supporting our team growth and identifying new opportunities in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead economic modelling, analysis, and appraisal in the context of the energy sector.
  • Provide energy economics expertise and knowledge sharing internally and externally.
  • Be client-facing, solving client problems, leading positive and cohesive teams, and managing the delivery of projects.
  • Drive the delivery of policies and strategies, developing business cases, and providing strategic advice to clients in support of energy infrastructure investments.
  • Engage and maintain local relationships and build presence in the energy sector at industry events.
  • Build on our positive culture, which is integral to the success of our team.
  • Lead a cohesive and delivery-focused team, with growth and learning as a key focus.
  • Support or unlock our exposure to new or different client sectors and engagements.
  • Be supported with tailored learning and development training opportunities and learning from industry leaders.
Requirements
  • Leadership experiences in similar consulting, advisory, or in-house roles across the energy sector, energy transition, decarbonisation investments, and projects.
  • An ability to contribute to the successful generation of new work opportunities and the successful delivery of projects.
  • Tertiary qualifications in economics or other relevant areas/experience.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships and develop a presence at industry networking events.
