Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Economic Consultant to join our team in Melbourne, Sydney, or Singapore. As an Economic Consultant, you will work on a range of microeconomics projects, conducting research, collecting data, and developing economic models to analyze business and public policy problems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct economic research and analysis to develop solutions to complex economic problems
- Develop and apply economic models to analyze business and public policy issues
- Collect and analyze data to inform economic decisions
- Present findings and recommendations to clients and colleagues
- Work collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
- Honours or Master's level degree qualifications in economics or econometrics
- Ability to write and present complex economic ideas to a variety of audiences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills, including managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload
- Clear written and oral communication skills
- Experience working effectively with clients or stakeholders
- Understanding of and experience in one of the key industry sectors that Frontier Economics works in, such as natural resources, energy, transport, infrastructure, or water
- Proficiency in computer coding and modeling skills, particularly Excel, R, or Python
