Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled economist to join our team in Melbourne, Sydney, or Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will work on a range of microeconomics projects, developing quantitative economic models and analyzing complex problems. Your expertise will help our clients make informed decisions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply economic models to analyze complex problems
  • Collect and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients and colleagues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Master's degree in economics or econometrics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in working with clients and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in one of the key industry sectors that Frontier Economics works in, such as natural resources, energy, transport, infrastructure, or water
  • Proficiency in computer coding and modeling skills, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of R and/or Python
