Director of Energy Markets and Origination

Eku Energy is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our energy markets and origination efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth and optimize our energy assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and negotiate commercial agreements and revenue contracts for energy assets
  • Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize asset and portfolio objectives
  • Provide expertise on trading outcomes and asset performance to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define risk frameworks and hedging strategies
  • Represent Eku Energy on asset-specific Risk and Trading Committees

Requirements:

  • Experience in energy asset investment, revenue contracting, and trading
  • Strong technical knowledge of generation assets, including BESS
  • Proven track record of managing teams and senior stakeholders
  • Well-developed commercial and contract management acumen
  • Strong understanding of the Australian energy market
