About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic-minded individual to join our Strategy Execution team as a Strategic Associate - Energy Transition. This role will play a key part in driving our organisation's strategic and transformational initiatives, focusing on the clean energy transition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Problem Definition and Structuring: Engage with stakeholders across the business and team members to clearly articulate and define the core issues and strategic objectives of the project or initiative.
  • Complex Analysis: Execute in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis to uncover root causes, evaluate potential impacts, and explore strategic options.
  • Synthesis of Findings and Recommendations: Develop coherent and actionable recommendations based on the synthesised data to address project objectives.
  • Presentation and Communication: Prepare and deliver clear, compelling presentations, highlighting findings, strategic recommendations, and action plans.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor the external environment and macro trends and generate insights on competitors, technologies, international markets, regulation, and other relevant factors.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Experience in data analysis and synthesis, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive consensus among diverse teams.
  • Excellent Presentation and Communication Abilities: A talent for distilling complex information into actionable insights, with effective planning and organising skills to prioritise and meet designated timeframes.
  • Pro-Active Mindset and Ownership: A willingness to take end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks and work packages, with the ability to operate under ambiguity.
  • Proven Track Record: Experience in strategy, transformation, or M&A project work with top-tier consultancy, investment banks, or equivalent corporate functions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience within the utility or related industry is desirable but not a prerequisite.
