Job Title: People and Culture Manager

Vendito is seeking a highly skilled People and Culture Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing systems related to People and Culture, leading the organisational development agenda, and enabling the build of organisational capability and a high-performance organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Functional leadership of best practice people engagement, people policies, employee lifecycle practices to build a high-performance organisation.
  • Design, construct & implement strategy to align human resource policies, practices and programs.
  • Develop, maintain and implement people & culture systems, processes, policies and infrastructure that deliver the strategic objectives.
  • Provide high level operational support and advice.
  • Implementing training programs and platforms that enhance the proficiency of people, and organisational skills and competencies.
  • Identifying and integrating HR enablement tools that streamline HR processes and drive success.
  • Monitoring sales enablement metrics to gauge the effectiveness of people policies, engagement and processes and adjust accordingly.

Critical Success Factors:
  • Build organisational capability of key people competencies required to achieve the strategic plan through HR processes.
  • Embed HR structure and process throughout the organisation.
  • Coach line managers to enable them to effectively deliver components of the employee lifecycle.
  • Communicate and provide training to all employees of HR policies, processes and employee lifecycle routines.
  • Improve employee engagement, retention and churn rate.
Experience/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of HR experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of HR best practice, methodologies & technologies
  • Proven experience of embedding HR policies and processes in an organization.
  • A strong understanding of the HR and IR environment
  • Expertise in employee relations and a good working knowledge of HR-related legislation and processes
  • Measurable experience with having a positive impact on employee engagement, reduction in people churn and improvement in retention.
  • Experience with HR management systems.
  • Experience in executing change management initiatives.
  • Able to build internal & external relationships.
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills.
