U&U Recruitment Partners is seeking a seasoned People and Culture Manager to join our client, a community-centered, purpose-driven organization in the sporting sector. As a key member of the Executive team, you will be responsible for elevating the people strategy and strengthening capability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people agenda, including policies, processes, and procedures that align with the organization's values and culture.
  • Lead the development of engagement strategies, leadership development programs, and EVP initiatives to drive business results.
  • Design and implement support tools for leaders to enhance team performance, including goal setting processes, performance review processes, and succession planning.
  • Manage risk by ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations through an effective HR framework.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including state awards and employee grievances.
  • Drive innovation and process improvement across the generalist HR remit.
  • Develop and implement DE&I initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Manage the WHS framework and employee wellness programs to promote a healthy and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of generalist HR experience, ideally with experience managing most HR functions end-to-end.
  • Passion for innovation and process improvement, with a solutions-driven approach.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the business.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to operate in both strategic and operational capacities.
