Job Description:

The Head of People and Culture will lead the P&C function and team responsible for partnering with leaders in the business, developing and implementing P&C strategies that align with people, business, and commercial goals. This role will oversee all verticals in P&C including payroll, learning and development, organisational development, and Work Health and Safety.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships at a Senior Leadership Level
  • Developing and executing P&C strategies
  • Leading a team of P&C professionals including payroll experts
  • Managing goal setting and performance review processes
  • Overseeing compensation and remuneration processes, benchmarking, and more
  • Managing workplace relations (ER and IR) matters
  • Approving payroll runs
  • Implementing organisational changes such as org charts and restructures
  • Conducting engagement and feedback surveys
  • Managing workers' compensation and Return to Work processes
  • Responsible for WHS matters
  • Reporting
  • Serving as an escalation point for field teams on HR and workplace-related advice and matters
  • Partnering with leadership for guidance, coaching, and support on people matters

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior HR/P&C generalist roles
  • Experience working in similar organisations and industries, such as agency, marketing, media, communications, public relations, etc.
