Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Duty Manager within our Front Office team. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including managing the front desk, handling guest complaints, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front Office Operations
    • Process and assist with check-in and check-out of guests
    • Actively resolve guest issues and challenges presented on shift
  • Team Leadership
    • Provide guidance, support, training, and leadership to the front office team
    • Responsible for the health and safety of all patrons, guests, and staff members
  • Hotel Operations
    • Assist in the delivery of front office performance reviews and staff development
    • Assist in all hotel departments during peak times while ensuring a high level of service is maintained

Requirements

  • A natural leader with a 'hands-on' approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and grooming standards
  • Flexible working hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Previous hotel supervisory experience
  • Opera experience will be highly regarded
