Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Duty Manager within our Front Office team. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including managing the front desk, handling guest complaints, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Front Office Operations
- Process and assist with check-in and check-out of guests
- Actively resolve guest issues and challenges presented on shift
- Team Leadership
- Provide guidance, support, training, and leadership to the front office team
- Responsible for the health and safety of all patrons, guests, and staff members
- Hotel Operations
- Assist in the delivery of front office performance reviews and staff development
- Assist in all hotel departments during peak times while ensuring a high level of service is maintained
Requirements
- A natural leader with a 'hands-on' approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and grooming standards
- Flexible working hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Previous hotel supervisory experience
- Opera experience will be highly regarded
