Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Pullman & Mercure Brisbane King George Square. As a Front Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading by example, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a proactive and resourceful approach to resolving guest issues.
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Assist with the running of the night audit process, including correctly posting all hotel revenue for the day, accurately identifying discrepancies, and producing a complete night audit report.
    • Ensure all front desk duties are completed, including managing credit and cash transactions, and maintaining accurate accounting documentation.
  • Team Development
    • Develop and lead the night team, ensuring strong succession planning and professional development.
    • Assist in all areas of the hotel to eliminate potential issues, including Food & Beverage operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in high-volume and preferably luxury service.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Availability and flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday, including public holidays.
  • Hold a full and open driver's license.
  • Ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with experience in managing large airline crew movements.
  • Experience in Opera, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in a similar role within the hospitality/hotel industry.
