Dispute Resolution Expert with Insurance Acumen

Suncorp Group seeks a highly skilled Insurance Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our External Customer Relations team. As a Senior External Dispute Resolution Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing insurance-related complaints lodged through external dispute resolution (EDR) schemes.
About the Role- Manage a dynamic portfolio of insurance complaints referred to EDR schemes;
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a resolution focus through high-quality solutions to customers and the business;
- Prepare quality submissions and correspondence to AFCA;
You will be responsible for:
- Managing all complaint-related communications with customers and their representatives, both verbally and in writing;
- Maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders at AFCA and participating in EDR scheme forums;
- Analysing and determining the appropriate course of action in managing complaints using industry knowledge, delegations, legal principles, and internal policy;
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written;
- Strong dispute resolution experience and/or industry experience preferably within insurance;
- Proficiency in learning new IT systems and tools;

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum-
