Dispute Resolution Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our claims management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring positive outcomes for our clients.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving disputes in a fair and timely manner. This will involve reviewing and evaluating evidence, negotiating settlements, and making submissions at arbitration hearings and conciliation conferences.
You will work closely with our Senior Legal Specialist to provide advice and guidance on dispute resolution strategies. Your strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills will be essential in achieving successful outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities- Manage and resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation, and arbitration
- Review and evaluate evidence to determine the merits of disputes
- Negotiate settlements with parties involved in disputes
- Make submissions at arbitration hearings and conciliation conferences
- Work closely with our Senior Legal Specialist to develop dispute resolution strategies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of disputes
- Bachelor of Laws or equivalent qualification
- Experience in Victorian workers compensation disputation and litigation processes or alternative dispute resolution
- Strong engagement, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- A base salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum
