Religious Education Coordinator

The Religious Education Coordinator is a senior leadership position within Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn. This role is responsible for building capacity and supporting colleagues in Religious Education curriculum and pedagogy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement contemporary pedagogy in Religious Education, focusing on High Impact Teaching Practices.
- Provide pedagogical leadership and support teachers in developing, implementing, and evaluating classroom religion teaching and learning programs.
- Embed Catholic perspectives across all subject areas and create a culture of ongoing improvement and professional learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement professional dialogue and feedback mechanisms to improve educational outcomes.
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC) registrations.
- NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
- Practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to Catholic education and evangelising mission.
- Ability to articulate the aims of Catholic education and lead change in Religious Education curriculum and pedagogy.
