This is an exceptional opportunity to teach both English and Religious Education in a vibrant and inclusive community. As an English Teacher, you will guide students by transforming literature into an immersive experience, uncovering the profound impact of language and storytelling in today's world. As a Religious Education Teacher, you will assist students in understanding and exploring religious beliefs, values, and practices within the Catholic Tradition.
Key Responsibilities- Teach English and Religious Education to students, fostering a deep understanding of literature and the Catholic faith.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, utilizing evidence-based teaching practices.
- Nurture a strong foundation in Catholic values, inspiring students to discover their voices and grow as individuals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching qualifications.
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) accreditation.
- Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation.
- To be Catholic, with the ability to provide a reference from a current Parish Priest.
- Accreditation D – Teach Religious Education in a Catholic school, in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
