About the Role

We are seeking two Senior Religious Education Coordinators to lead our faith-based programs at St Mary MacKillop College. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Christ-centered faith communities, ensuring Catholic perspectives are embedded across all subject areas, and providing educational and spiritual leadership.

Job Description

This senior leadership position involves working closely with the Principal and Leadership Team to develop and implement strategic plans for religious education. You will lead RE on either the Padua Campus (Years 7-9) or the St Peter's Campus (Years 10-12), depending on your expertise and experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and curriculum development, with exceptional knowledge of religious education and the ability to lead staff in implementing high-impact teaching practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A practicing Catholic committed to the Catholic faith and the spiritual wellbeing and growth of all students.
  • A qualified teacher with a minimum of five years' experience and a willingness to complete Accreditation D and E.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to build capacity among staff and lead change initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders and build relationships.
