Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to provide high-quality administrative assistance to our General Manager – Home and Living Rural & Remote Western. The successful candidate will have a strong background in executive administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the General Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
- Collect, collate, and enter monthly reporting data into the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission Provider portal
- Oversee Melba's internal NDIS workflow processes in Rural and Remote Western, ensuring compliance with specified timeframes
- Maintain and track individual NDIS information, including plan and service agreement expiry dates
- Provide administrative assistance to all service delivery arms, including initial responses to feedback, complaints, and compliments
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration or a related discipline
- Comprehensive understanding of executive administration functions
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in providing support to an executive officer, preferably in the disability services sector or other not-for-profit service organisation
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative working relationships
This role offers a competitive salary of $65,000 – $80,000 per annum, plus not-for-profit salary packaging benefits. You will also have the opportunity to work with a values-oriented organisation that prioritises human rights and promotes independence.
