About the Role:
  • This position requires strong two-way communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business needs into process or technology requirements, working closely with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, becoming a subject matter expert in MI business operations, and driving organisational change through effective leadership and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across business units to understand their objectives, priorities, and challenges.
  2. Become a Subject Matter Expert in how the MI business units operate and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on how technology can address their needs and drive process innovation.
  3. Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for technology-enabled business transformation and process improvements.
  4. Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into clear and actionable technology requirements & User Stories.
  5. Develop business roadmaps, drive improvement initiatives into the pipeline and actively contribute to prioritisation discussions.
  6. Partner with Change & Communications to sequence, prioritise, respond and implement changes that impact your area of business responsibility. Actively contribute to the testing and business verification activities to ensure conformance to business requirements and the ability to operate the product.
  7. Work closely with Technology teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
  8. Facilitate communication and collaboration between all business stakeholders, technology and various group project teams or business initiatives delivering improvements into the business unit.
  9. Manage expectations, communicate initiative status, and resolve issues or conflicts that may arise between business and technology teams.
  10. Support incident management. Minimise key person risk by actively sharing/documenting process information and advocate risk management and compliance in decision making
  11. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to business engagement and technology innovation.
  12. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technology and process solutions in meeting business objectives, gathering feedback and making recommendations for continuous improvement.

A competitive salary is available, estimated around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
