Job Summary

This role will partner with the business across states to ensure compliance with appropriate accounting standards. As a Financial Operations Specialist - Strategic Partnership, you will be responsible for working with different functions, including Sales & Project Managers teams, for reporting and forecasting, tracking business performance, and providing strategic financial insight and support to local teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and accurate information to drive business performance and enable tactical and strategic decisions.
  • Collect budgeting, forecasting, and outlook processes for P&L, balance sheet, and working capital/cashflow.
  • Take ownership of the financials and work closely with Operations team for both Service and Install and provide day-to-day support where required by the Ops team.
  • Identify and track KPIs and operational measures to enable business to thrive results.
  • Perform monthly reviews with ops team to ensure projects have no risk and any risk and opps identified in reviews and actions taken.
  • Be a local support for existing team in Melbourne on Finance and ensure correct reporting from all functions to align with JCI standards.
  • Month end activities, involve in POC review with Senior Business Finance Manager and close month end to meet all deadlines.
  • Drive operational and process improvements in the FP&A function and lead reporting standardization and automation across the organization.
  • Involve in standardize process in business unit under control.
  • Efficiency of department overheads and preparation of reports to assess branch performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting policies/standards.
  • Become the expert in ERP, explore the current reports and involve with ERP consultant to drive standardize reports.
What We Look For
  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or Finance. CA/CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience.
  • This role must deliver high-quality support for the ops team.
  • Previous experience in POC, OS and Pronto is preferred but not a must.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to influence without authority, and comfortable interacting with colleagues at all organizational levels, including branch managers across the states.
  • Excellent communication skills, spoken and written. Able to focus on big picture and turning complex topics into simple concepts.
  • Ambitious, self-driven, and highly motivated individual who can thrive in ambiguity, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with offshore functions and/or different cultures preferred.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
