We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnership Development Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with our key accounts across Australia. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive account strategies that align customer goals with our objectives, identifying opportunities to bring value to our customers, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement account strategies to drive innovation and growth
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and deepen partnerships
  • Act as the primary interface between assigned accounts and our organization, ensuring seamless coordination and communication
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to bring value to our customers, including bundled offers, incentives, and rebates
  • Monitor account performance, manage financial objectives, and ensure compliance with company metrics
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in strategic account management, partnerships, or a similar role
  • Proven success managing high-stakes accounts in dynamic and fast-paced environments
  • An understanding of the academic and research sectors, including key players and trends (preferably)
  • Experience in global organizations with decentralized models (preferably)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, analytical approach, excellent organizational and time management skills, and clear and compelling communication

We offer a competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
