Opportunity

The Sales Engineer will collaborate with enterprise customers to reduce the sales cycle by addressing technical challenges within their accounts. This position requires strong communication skills, sales ability, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently. The Sales Engineer must establish relationships with technical buyers at the end-user level and with Enterprise Service Providers and Certified Solution Providers.

The Sales Engineer must be well-versed in the technical and sales aspects of the March Networks product and third-party products that integrate with it in each vertical. The ability to communicate complex technical information to customers on demand is a requirement.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Assist in generating new business and ensuring the growth of existing accounts through technical knowledge of March Networks products and subsequent third-party product integrations.
  2. Communicate customer feedback into future product developments.
  3. Support sales account managers by answering technical questions, making technical presentations, and managing customer trials through phone, email, and on-site visits.
  4. Evaluate and integrate 3rd-party devices.
  5. Provide effective interfaces into existing and emerging opportunities and external partners.
  6. Leverage relationships within organizations to solve technical hurdles and foster awareness of our products and solutions.
  7. Assess potential applications of company products and services and offer solutions to meet customer needs.
  8. Install, configure, and test our solution at customer facilities during Proof of Concepts.
  9. Interface with various customers at both a business and technical level and propose viable solutions in real-time during customer meetings.
  10. Support the development of our channel partners, which may include conducting joint account calls, updating their technical staff on new products and features, and working with them to develop solutions for customers.
  11. Provide technical training to end-users and Certified Solution Providers.
Experience and Qualifications
  1. College or University Degree in a business or technical discipline.
  2. Minimum 4 years of experience in networks, WAN, LAN, Wireless and Wired Communication networks, Client/Server knowledge, ERP systems, and CCTV/Video Surveillance equipment.
  3. Excellent communication (written and oral) skills to communicate effectively with various levels of personnel in an organization, including technical and executive.
  4. Proven track record in providing customer satisfaction.
  5. Understanding of how all facets of a manufacturing organization operate.
  6. Results-driven with demonstrated initiative and trust, firmness, and resilience.
  7. Some project management experience.
