Job Description:
The Channel Technical Sales Specialist plays a critical role within the sales channel business, providing technical sales expertise to the Managed Service partner (MSP) community. This position owns and orchestrates the sales engineering technical engagement and enablement across our SaaS MSPs, requiring a strong Commvault SaaS technical focus. The ideal candidate understands how partner decisions impact and influence the customer's outcome while driving revenue for Commvault.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with Commvault Sales & Managed Service partner Channel teams in ANZ to execute on strategies aligned to key focused SaaS MSP partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships, working closely as a trusted resource for segments of our partner segment.
  • Provide pre-sales support, assisting in demonstrations, technical presentations, and answering technical queries.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry knowledge and technology trends.
  • Develop effective technical sales strategies with partners and internal sales teams.
  • Deliver training and education to ensure success of demonstrations, proof of value, scoping, and Managed Service partner sales campaigns.
  • Drive detailed, executable Technical Account Plans for all focus targets and current partners using the Commvault Target Account Selling methodology.
  • Actively participate in trade events, conferences, partner sessions to generate leads and promote Commvault's solutions and services.

Requirements:
This role requires frequent travel within the region, Security, Cloud/SaaS, and Data Management experience, and specialised knowledge/skills in major open systems operating systems, hypervisors, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate also has knowledge of major workloads (M, AD, D, SQL, SAP, Oracle, Exchange, SharePoint) and SaaS infrastructure technologies (cloud, storage, servers, networking, hyper-convergence). Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills are essential for building and maintaining stakeholder and business relationships.

Estimated Salary:
$85,000 - $115,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
