Sales Engineer Role

We're seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a Sales Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing technical expertise to our sales teams, preparing demos, and communicating the value of our platform to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical demonstrations of our software to explain our company's products or services to customers
  • Discuss customer needs and pains in the HR tech space and collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements
  • Provide sales support before and during calls, listening to customer technical requirements and relaying feedback to the product development team
  • Solicit client feedback and evaluate data to inform new sales and marketing strategies
  • Assist in training sales teams on the technical aspects of our products and services

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 4+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering in a B2B technology SaaS environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills
  • The ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical customers
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for winning and a team player mentality
