Job OverviewThe Compliance Business Liaison will work closely with the Compliance Team to assist in monitoring activities, improving compliance practices, and enhancing the overall risk profile of SS&C Bluedoor. This role involves collaboration with various departments to ensure business-wide compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Compliance Framework:
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining the existing compliance framework.
- Identify potential areas for improvement and work with senior team members to implement changes.
- Oversee and manage the Policy Framework for SS&C Bluedoor.
- Provide key compliance updates to the Head of Compliance for the Risk and Compliance Committee.
- Technology Utilisation:
- Help integrate technology into compliance processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support the implementation and usage of compliance-related technology tools.
- Monitoring & Supervision:
- Assist in monitoring compliance activities.
- Conduct compliance reviews across the business to monitor for compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Act as a contact point for the business regarding basic compliance activities.
- Business Support:
- Work with Management to provide basic coaching and support in improving their compliance practices.
- Assist in reviewing compliance training for employees.
- Provide support to Line 1 Risk and Compliance Champions to ensure understanding of the Compliance Framework.
- Review compliance incidents and appropriately challenge to ensure adequate mitigation of root cause.
- Review any system change requests to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with leaders to ensure compliance considerations are integrated into business processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business to enhance compliance and efficiency.
- Attend internal compliance forums with SME's across the business to advise on compliance and regulatory updates and changes.
- Attend client meetings, as required, to advise on compliance and regulatory changes.
$120,000 - $150,000 per annum
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum 5 years' experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role within the financial services industry.
- An understanding of Superannuation & APRA Prudential Requirements.
- A basic understanding of AFSL regulatory requirements and obligations.
- A willingness to learn and develop in the compliance field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high attention to detail and organisational skills.
- An interest in technology and openness to exploring AI applications in compliance.
