Job Description

A permanent full-time Administration Support role exists at Salvos Funerals in Blackburn. As an Administrative Support Professional, you will make a significant contribution to our trusted brand by providing exceptional customer support and administrative services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to family and community member enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Providing estimates and information to families within agreed timeframes.
  • Managing prepaid funeral contracts and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate filing and archiving systems.
  • Overseeing the security and collection of ashes, and coordinating their delivery to families.

The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar administration position is preferable, but not essential.

You will also have the ability to be empathetic and sensitive to the nature of enquiries, working effectively with grieving and distressed individuals.
