Agricultural Sales Professional

As a key member of our team at De Lacy Executive Limited, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within your designated territory.
With a strong technical background in agricultural machinery and a proven ability to build long-term relationships with customers, you will be well-positioned to drive business growth and success in this exciting role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Visiting customers to build relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Working closely with the sales team to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the organisation
- Promoting the dealership brand, subsidiary brands, and supplier brands and products
- Demonstrating and delivering new machinery to grow market share and create awareness of our product range
- Following up on leads and generating new leads
- Assisting with on-farm demonstrations and providing technical support to customers
- Supporting the Group Sales Manager and other Salespeople with technical support
- Ensuring excellent customer service and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction
Requirements for this role include:
- A technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent related to agricultural machinery
- Ability to build relationships with farmers and the wider customer base
- Past experience of agricultural sales is preferred, but not essential
- Current knowledge of agricultural machinery
- Commercial and market awareness
- Ability to take initiative and manage time effectively
