Role Overview

The Sales Consultant for Client Solutions will play a pivotal role in fostering enduring client relationships and ensuring satisfaction through effective sales strategies. This position requires a focus on exceptional client engagement to facilitate the growth of Cerner's customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead sales activities for Cerner's software solutions within assigned accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets for both existing and new business opportunities.
  • Develop strategic account plans to enhance business growth and maintain market leadership; oversee pipeline management and regularly update management on progress.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams to ensure the success of Cerner's consulting services.
  • Design effective solutions to secure winning deals.
  • Oversee the opportunity management process for clients and prospects.
  • Support the bid management process to enhance client engagement.
  • Ensure the success of each engagement from both a financial and customer satisfaction perspective.
  • Facilitate successful delivery to pave the way for future expansion.
  • Address and resolve issues between Cerner and clients to achieve positive outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background with over 10 years of experience in opportunity management, demonstrating substantial interaction with client executives and decision-makers in the healthcare domain. Expertise in relevant products, technology, or industry practices is essential, along with the ability to cultivate and sustain relationships at the executive level.

Content Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of Enterprise Software or SaaS solutions.
  • Experience in positioning services within the healthcare sector.
  • Knowledge of effective strategies for SaaS and Cloud implementations.
  • Preferred experience in sales or delivery of Cerner's software applications.
