Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Australia. As a strategic partner, you will play a key role in developing and implementing local HR strategies that support business objectives and align with regional and global HR objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Local HR Strategies
    • Develop and implement local HR strategies that support business objectives and align with regional and global HR objectives.
  • Support Business Growth and Success
    • Support business growth and success by providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Manage Compensation and Benefits
    • Manage the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and Implement Employee Engagement Strategies
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase employee engagement and experience, including recognition, wellbeing, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Provide HR Support and Guidance
    • Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters, ensuring their concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build a Positive and Innovative Culture
    • Build a positive and innovative culture locally, providing a positive working environment that incorporates diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Partner with Business Managers
    • Partner with business managers across the business units to provide HR support and guidance on a wide range of HR topics, including performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and employee development.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner or a similar role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Deep understanding of HR best practices and experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with managers and employees and to influence and advise them on HR-related matters.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data and metrics to drive insights and recommendations.
    • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to HR and ability to ensure compliance with them.
    • Able to multitask multiple activities at once and passionate about people, talent, and driving a great HR experience for all.
    • Familiar with HRIS systems.
