Job Overview

In this role, you will work as a well-rounded HR professional helping us recruit top talent, streamline onboarding and training for clinical research professionals, and support all personnel-related matters. You will partner with our Country Management team and work closely with colleagues and counterparts from other offices worldwide, quickly adjusting to a growing company.

The scope of responsibilities will include:

Human Resources
  • Manage pre-employment formalities and ensure all local requirements are met at point of employment.
  • Maintain employee benefits administration and support with employee queries resolution.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, HR files and work agreements in accordance with local rules and regulations.
  • Support Country Manager with all HR-related matters and ensure compliance of local requirements.
  • Maintain staff attendance logs and verify leaves of absence justifications.
  • Assist in organizing the evaluation of staff performance (at the completion of the probation period and ongoing).
  • Attend and conduct exit interviews of staff leaving the company.
Training and Development
  • Arrange and conduct corporate, procedural, and other training of office/regional staff.
  • Coordinate training activities between company offices.
  • Liaise with external resources and parties for organizing training.
Recruitment and Hiring
  • Organize and schedule interviews; conduct and report on interviews and testing of job candidates.
  • Maintain a database of applicants and interview outcomes using the applicant tracking system.
Payroll and Benefits
  • Verify salary, bonuses and benefits amounts to be payable, ensuring confidentiality of payroll information as needed.
  • Cooperate with external accounting company in order to provide all necessary information for calculation of salaries, tax forms, absence reports.
Requirements
  • College or university degree in HR or a related field.
  • Experience in HR activities, recruitment and training, preferably in an international company.
  • Knowledge of Australian labor law and general human resources practices is essential.
  • Industry experience in Clinical Research, Pharma, or Biotech is a plus.
  • PC skills to be able to work with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in international environment and build relationships at all levels.
