About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our team at Clearlight Saunas International. As the first point of contact for all day-to-day HR support, you will play a key role in recruitment, managing HR activities, writing and implementing HR practices and policies, managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, and ensuring excellence in supporting our employee experience.
Your Key Responsibilities- Recruitment & Onboarding: Drive the recruitment process, including developing position descriptions, job postings, resume and candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and facilitating the onboarding and integration into Clearlight.
- HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records, and manage HR documentation, ensuring compliance with Clearlight policies and legal requirements.
- Compensation - Benefits, Reward & Recognition: Administer employee benefits, reward and recognition programs, supporting our Clearlight finance team with payroll, and liaising with global HR partners to support our international teams.
- WHS & Compliance Management: Manage all workplace health and safety requirements, ensuring employment law compliance across the different jurisdictions in which we operate.
- Systems & Process Management: Oversee and maintain the integrity of HR systems, managing and optimising HR software to streamline processes and enhance the employee experience cross-departmentally.
- Employee Relations & Stakeholder Management: Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
- Training, Development & Performance Management: Coordinate with management to identify any key development and training opportunities for team members.
- A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated HR experience in an HR Coordinator or Advisory position, with higher education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of HR best practices in HR policy, procedures, talent management and acquisition, and employment laws and regulations.
- Strong integrity, leading with honesty and a strong background in supporting and advising on employee relation matters.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS and modern technological tools (e.g., GoogleSuit, ASANA, Slack, EmploymentHero, etc.) with a willingness to embrace change.
- Experience advising managers on performance management, feedback, goal setting and team/culture dynamics.
- Embody Clearlight's values, with demonstrated experience handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience in an agile, flexible and adaptive working environment.
- An ability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team.
- Working knowledge of and a passion for Clearlight's products and the broader wellness industry.
