Hotel Sales Strategist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Sales Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively soliciting and managing group and transient sales opportunities, driving customer loyalty, and maximizing revenue.
Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
- Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure group and transient sales efforts are coordinated and complementary.
- Develop relationships within the community to expand the customer base for group and transient sales opportunities.
- Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct daily sales activities to achieve department goals, including responding to incoming group and transient opportunities.
- Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
- Execute operational aspects of business booked, including generating proposals and writing contracts.
- Analyze market conditions, competitors, client and industry changes, economic forecasts, and trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major.
- 2+ years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
