About This Role

We're seeking a seasoned SMB Account Executive to join our team at Zendesk. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers and developing strategies for account expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow our SMB account base, focusing on top-line revenue growth through new customer acquisition and account expansion.
  • Manage and nurture customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention levels, identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services.
  • Utilize data insights, customer intent, and adoption history to effectively prospect new clients and enhance retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance sales strategies and streamline sales execution, consistently developing a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts, and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
  • At least 2 years of B2B sales or solution engineering experience, preferably in the SaaS industry with a proven record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and deal closing skills.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and the ability to build relationships with key decision makers.
