Domestic Student Recruitment Strategist

Swinburne University of Technology seeks a highly skilled Schools Recruitment Specialist to drive domestic student enrolments.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an exceptional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to manage a portfolio of secondary schools, provide expert advice to career practitioners and prospective students, and ensure alignment with Swinburne's broader engagement strategy.
About the RoleThis full-time, ongoing position at our Hawthorn campus offers a HEW 6 salary + 17% superannuation and staff benefits. The successful candidate will work closely with the Recruitment Team Leader to develop and strengthen relationships with secondary schools to raise awareness and drive enrolments.
Your Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of secondary schools to promote Swinburne's programs and services.
- Provide expert advice to career practitioners and prospective students on Swinburne's courses and admission requirements.
- Ensure alignment with Swinburne's broader engagement strategy to drive domestic student enrolments.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to have experience in:
- Demonstrated experience in managing an indirect sales channel in a services industry.
- Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork and negotiation skills, including strong public speaking ability.
- Superior time management skills, and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Competency with a range of software and systems, including PowerPoint, spreadsheets and CRM. Experience with Salesforce CRM is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of secondary and tertiary education sectors, including VTAC application and selection processes and higher education reforms.
