Domestic Recruitment and Admissions Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Schools Recruitment Specialist to play a key role in driving domestic student enrolments at Swinburne University of Technology. This exciting opportunity is based at our Hawthorn campus, where you will engage with secondary schools, build relationships with key school contacts, and inspire students to explore our programs.
In this full-time, ongoing position, you will work closely with the Recruitment Team Leader to develop and strengthen relationships with secondary schools to raise awareness and drive enrolments. Your excellent communication and organisational skills will enable you to create meaningful connections and partnerships with secondary schools, ensuring alignment with our broader engagement strategy.
This role requires someone with a strong passion for education and the ability to communicate effectively with others. Experience in recruitment, event management, or outreach (particularly in the education sector) would be an advantage, along with excellent project management skills. To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in managing an indirect sales channel in a services industry, as well as strong interpersonal communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills. You should also possess superior time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Additionally, you should be competent in a range of software and systems, including PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and CRM, with experience with Salesforce CRM being highly desirable.
Qualifications
Completion of a degree in marketing/communications or equivalent with relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training is required.
