Job Title: Chemical Industry Growth Strategist

Estimated Salary: AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience

Company Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our client's growth initiatives within the Australian market and play a crucial role in their expansion strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive lead generation efforts through ANZ market research, referrals, tradeshows, and other strategic activities.
  • Actively participate in industry events and conferences both domestically and internationally to represent our brand and build a robust professional network.
  • Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with potential and existing clients, identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging pre-sales presentations and high-level product demonstrations.
  • Oversee the negotiation process, including scope, delivery, and commercial terms.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Produce formal monthly reports outlining key activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement monthly and quarterly sales strategy plans.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director on sales-related tasks and report directly to them.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in selling or procuring chemical products, preferably within the animal feed industry.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Experience in professional environments with a strong customer service orientation.
  • High level of interpersonal skills with excellent time management capabilities.
