We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven State-Based Sales Professional to join our team at The Kraft Heinz Company.

As a State-Based Sales Professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our state-based distributors and end-user groups. Your primary goal will be to optimize net sales and profit, quality of services, and business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement account-specific business plans in collaboration with the Field Sales Manager to achieve set standards.
  • Sell to targeted new accounts, focusing on specific channels and categories.
  • Identify and secure potential new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate and agree on business plans that align with company policies and budget.
  • Communicate performance standards and customer commitments to key stakeholders and ensure their implementation at the operational level.
  • Collaborate with state-based accounts and internal units to create tailored product solutions and Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
  • Monitor performance and compliance with agreements, taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Provide regular updates on forecasting, opportunity pipeline, NPDs, price, and market intelligence to National Field Sales and other key internal stakeholders.
  • Effectively utilize and engage with CRM software to manage data accurately and timely.
  • Ensure that all portfolio accounts receive day-to-day customer management.
  • Adhere to assigned tasks aligned with Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, Ethical, and Human Resources policies, programs, and goals.
  • Promote Kraft Heinz values and contribute to the company's vision.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven sales experience at a state-based and account management level.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' sales experience in an FMCG company.
  • A strong entrepreneurial spirit and a hunger for sales.
  • High commercial and sales acumen.
  • Account management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • An understanding of CRM tools.
  • Negotiation skills and professional communication.
